The Pretender

Set in 15th Century England at the juncture between the Plantaganets and the Tudors, this is fiction which is fun, bawdy, historically interesting and never takes itself too seriously. It's the story of young John Collan who became Lambert Simnel, manipulated as a pretender to the throne to succeed either Richard 3rd or Henry 6th, and thrust into a world full of rivalry and intrigue where he meets young Joan who becomes his greatest ally.
